Dried Blood can also help raise the acid level of the soil. Many gardeners prefer to add Dried Blood to the soil to raise nitrogen levels which have been lost through multiple plantings.
Always read the instructions for correct application rates as too much Dried Blood can raise nitrogen levels too much, which can hurt plants.
During application, ensure Dried Blood does not remain on leaves or stems.
